I chose Stanford University for many reasons. Stanford holds a great reputation of providing some of the best higher education in the world, and has turned out many influential people. A degree from Stanford is highly respected from virtually any potential employer. It also holds family value to me. 7 of my family members are alumni of Stanford, so it captures my interest even more. It also caters to the type of college I want to go to in the way that it is located in a suburb of a big city. It feels like the campus is isolated, but there are many activities outside of the school.
